“And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.”
~1Cor 15:19NLT
This Easter period should rekindle our hope of eternity and heaven. It should be spent with sober reflection on the love and unselfish choice Jesus made to lay down His life for mankind.
Knowing fully well that He was not accepted by His people while He was alive. Even so, He still went to die. What gave Him impression that His death would mean anything to His people and mankind?
He had to die in hope, hoping that people will repent of their sins. Hope that he had to do what he had to do, for you and me.
The resurrection of Jesus brings hope for today and hope for the future.
This was why He died. This was why God sent Him. He died to give us a better life in this world.
We must explore those benefits and we must enjoy them.
Be inspired!
